We work systematically to achieve our vision:
“Mantena aims to be be one of Scandinavia’s most innovative suppliers of total maintenance solutions to the railway sector.”
To achieve this goal, it is important to have thorough, documented procedures for everything we do, while complying with set rules and regulations.
We at Mantena, are continuously at work to adapt to an increasingly open marketed Europe and to ensure compliance with existing and new requirements, regulations and standards. Formal certifications are an important part of this work.
Today Mantena is certified under the following standards and regulations:
ECM EU 445/2011
- ECM I-III Mantena
- ECM Maintenance Delivery Function
– Mantena Maintenance
– Mantena Industry
- EN 15085-2 Welding of railway vehicles and components
- NS-EN ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System
- NS-EN ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management
- 303/2008 Minimum Requirements and Certification for Stationary Refrigeration Equipment
- Mantena NTO sertificate 2018-2022
The purpose of EU 445/2011 certification is to create a framework for harmonization of requirements, and provide a method to assess the ability of entities in charge of maintenance across the whole EU. As of today, only freight cars are subject to those requirements, but it’s highly likely that this will be extended to include all types of rolling stock by the end of 2018.
Mantena is, in addition to these certifications, approved by customers, and a government approved corporation to offer apprenticeship in several technical fields. We are also in process to acquire certification for OHSAS 18001 work environment (which becomes part of NS-EN ISO 45001 from 2016), as well as corporate certification according to EU Regulation 842/2006 with sub regulation 303/2008.
At Mantena, we work with continuous improvement and development of all procedures.
Mantena shall be a leading maintainer of rolling stock.
